Dr. Rebecca M. Wiesner graduated magna cum laude from Central Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Biology. She then earned her doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the prestigious Pi Delta National Honor Society. While at Des Moines University, she was also awarded the Dwayne S. Rivard, DPM, Podiatric Surgery Award for academic and clinical excellence.

Dr. Wiesner completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 2015. Her training included all aspects of podiatric medicine, including reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, diabetic limb salvage, and trauma. While at Yale, she received the Residency Excellence Award and served as chief resident during her final year. Read less
