Born and brought up in Northern India, Dr. Tiwari emigrated to the United States in 1997. Born and brought up in Northern India, Dr. Tiwari emigrated to the United States in 1997. After competing her BS in Biology from UC Irvine, with an honorary scholarship for her research project, she moved to Ohio for her medical school. She did her intern year at a hospital in New York, and then moved to Baltimore to finish her residency. She worked at ICLL (International Center of Limb Lengthening ) for two years and was trained under some of the finest doctors. She got extensive training as a chief resident in her third year in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery, diabetic limb salvage, diabetic ulcers and common foot and ankle problems. She is in the process of getting her certifications.

Dr. Tiwari has other interests besides podiatry in music, painting, and spending time with her husband and twin little ones, Saanvi and Saatvik. Read less
