Dr. Rolim was born in Brazil and grew up in South Florida . She holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Florida International University. She continued her studies at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, where she received both a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine and Master's in Biomedical Sciences degrees. Having excelled in the clinical performance, she was recognized with the excellence in Clinical Science award for her graduating class. She completed her postgraduate training at South Miami Hospital an affiliate of the Baptist Cardiovascular Institute, in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery, where she served as Co-Chief Resident.

She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She currently serves as an editor for the Foot and Ankle Online Journal. She has volunteered for the Yucatan Crippled Children's Project in Merida, Mexico treating children with complex structural deformities of the foot and ankle.

She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and French. She is a classically trained Violinist and Soprano. She is married and in her free time she enjoys traveling, riding her motorcycle and spending time with her family. Read less
