Dr. Jorge Cuza received his Undergraduate Degree in Science at the University of South Florida in 1987. He then attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1991.

After Dr. Cuza received his degree in Podiatric Medicine he relocated to Texas to participate in the Doctors Hospital Podiatric Surgical Residency Program from 1991 to 1992. During his time in this program he was trained in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, foot and ankle trauma including internal and external fixation, limb salvage, sports medicine, diabetic wound care, and ankle arthroscopy to name a few.

Dr. Jorge Cuza is board certified by and a Diplomate on the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of the Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Since 1992 Dr. Jorge Cuza has happily participated in the education of future Doctors of Podiatric Medicine. He is an instructor at the West Houston Medical Center Podiatric Surgical Residency Program (formerly Harris County Surgical Residency Program) and was the Academic Coordinator for the Doctors Hospital Podiatric Surgical Residency Program.

Bunions, diabetic ulcers, foot and ankle fractures, heel pain, hammertoes, nail deformities, flat feet, burning sensation or swelling of the foot or ankle, and other serious injuries are all common disorders or ailments of the foot and ankle that Dr. Jorge Cuza commonly treats. He speaks, reads, and writes Spanish fluently. Dr. Cuza accepts patients of all ages and most major insurances.

Dr. Cuza has been married for twenty-five years to his wife Gloria. They are proud parents to three children. The oldest boys, Jorge Carlos and Jorge Andres, are both honor students at Texas A&M University. His youngest, named Fabiola Andrea, is an honor student at Deer Park High School. Outside of his duties as a physician, Dr. Cuza spends most of his free time with his family and enjoys sports and exercising.
