Originally from New York, Dr. Menchin received his bachelor's degree from Binghamton University prior to earning his doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. During his time there, he was a scholarship recipient and was recognized with multiple awards, honors, and leadership positions.

Dr. Menchin then completed a three-year residency training program in foot and ankle surgery at the Northwell Health-Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Long Island, New York. Dr. Menchin's training included foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, elective forefoot surgery, sports medicine, complex trauma of the foot and ankle, wound care, and diabetic limb salvage.

He gained extensive expertise in sports medicine while working with the NCAA Division I athletic department at Fordham University. During his final year of residency, he was elected to be the chief resident and was the only resident in the department to be appointed to the rank of Teaching Associate by the Hofstra School of Medicine.

Dr. Menchin has completed nationally recognized courses in comprehensive and advanced internal and external fixation, as well as foot and ankle arthroscopy. He has lectured both domestically and internationally, most recently lecturing on podiatric pathologies and diabetic foot infections in Bangkok, Thailand.

Dr. Menchin is board qualified in foot surgery and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. His interests extend to all areas of podiatric care, both medical and surgical, for patients of all ages who require comprehensive and specialized care of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Menchin is an avid sports fan and former athlete. In his free time, he enjoys traveling around the world with his fiance, staying active playing softball, basketball, and football, lifting weights, and spending time with his family.
