Gireesh Reddy DPM, is a board qualified, fellowship-trained surgeon with extensive experience in complex foot and ankle reconstruction and trauma.

He started his medical journey by completing a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI while working in a research lab to help develop drugs for the treatment of leukemia. He then completed his doctorate degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan, NY., with Dean's List honors. He then had the privilege of serving as the Co-Chief at Detroit Medical Center and completed his residency at a level 1 trauma center. His residency training had heavy emphasis on trauma, wound care, and limb salvage. He went on to gain further experience in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at University of Texas San Antonio in TX.

It was there that he also learned from world renowned surgeons in plastic surgery techniques and circular external fixators for the treatment of lower extremity pathology. Dr. Reddy also has advanced training in foot and ankle arthroscopy and peripheral nerve surgery including neurolysis, decompression techniques and nerve repair.

In 2019, he also successfully completed the Advanced Foot and Ankle Osteosynthesis course. Dr. Reddy finds it extremely important to personally connect with his patients and to provide all treatments including surgical and non-surgical options.

Dr. Reddy is proficient in Hindi, Telugu, and Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis, basketball, hiking with his dog and kayaking. Read less
