Personal and Professional Bio

Dr. Matthew Britt graduated from LSU achieving a B.S. in Biology. He completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio where he graduated in the top 10 of his class. He completed an all encompassing three year foot and ankle surgical residency program at Hunt Regional Medical Center - Baylor affiliate. He trained under 30+ of the leading foot and ankle specialists in the Dallas area. His training focused on conservative therapy and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. During his residency, he was also the chief resident at the program.

Dr. Matthew Britt is Board Certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is a fellow member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and Dallas County Podiatric Medical Society. He is also actively involved in training and educating residents in foot and ankle surgery. He is looking forward to expanding the practice with a community based approach focused on patient education and understanding. Dr.Britt sees patients in the Wylie and Rockwall locations. He is married with two boys and one daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family, SEC football (LSU), hunting, and fishing.
